The Union Standard

Trust is the whole point. A company can't buy its way into the Union, it earns a place only by passing all five points of our standard, and we re-check as records change.
License verified
Active USDOT / state operating authority on file.
Insurance confirmed
Liability + cargo coverage checked before matching.
Complaint history
FMCSA and BBB complaint records reviewed.
Review quality
Genuine, recent reviews across independent sources.
Years in business
Established track record, not a fly-by-night broker.

- 1
Tell us about your move
Answer a few quick questions, home size, where you're going, and when. About sixty seconds, no account, no email to start.
- 2
We match you with vetted movers
You're matched with up to two Union-Verified movers who serve your area, each identified to you by name before anyone calls.
- 3
Compare and book with confidence

Why homeowners choose the Union
Not another lead marketplace
The big directories list anyone and sell your details to whoever pays. We do the opposite: a small, vetted network and a hard cap on who can contact you.
Typical lead site
- Your info is sold to 4–5 movers at once
- Anyone can list, pay-to-play placement
- You do the license and insurance checking
- Endless spam calls with no way out
Moving Union
- Matched with up to 2 movers, each named before they contact you
- Every mover passes the published 5-point standard first
- We verify USDOT authority, insurance, and complaint history
- Clear one-to-one consent, reply STOP any time
Before you book
Know what your move should cost
A fair quote starts with a fair benchmark. Our partner tool gives you a free, instant cost range by home size and distance, so you'll know a good quote when a Union-Verified mover sends one.

Questions
Straight answers, no dark patterns
How does Moving Union vet movers?
Before any company can receive a lead, we check five things: active USDOT or state operating authority (license), current liability and cargo insurance, FMCSA and BBB complaint history, the quality and recency of genuine reviews, and years in business. A mover that fails any point is not matched.
Is it really free?
Yes. You never pay Moving Union to be matched. Movers in our network pay us when we connect them with homeowners, that's how the service stays free for you, and it doesn't change our vetting standard or who we show you.
How many movers will contact me?
At most two. We match you with up to two Union-Verified movers who serve your area, and each is identified to you by name before they reach out, no being blasted to a dozen callers.
Do you handle long-distance or interstate moves?
Moving Union focuses on local and in-state moves. For a cross-country or interstate move, our partner site NationMoving.com specializes in long-distance carriers, we'll point you there so you get the right kind of mover.
How much will my move cost?
Costs vary by home size, distance, and services. For a free, instant cost estimate before you talk to anyone, our partner tool at MovingCompanyEstimate.com gives you a price range in about a minute.
Can I verify a mover myself?
Absolutely, we encourage it. Every licensed interstate mover has a USDOT number you can look up at fmcsa.dot.gov. We do this check as part of our standard, but the record is public and you should always confirm it before your move.
Get matched with movers who've earned your trust
Free, about a minute, and no more than two vetted movers, each named before they call. That's the Union difference.
