Consent to Contact (TCPA) Disclosure

This disclosure explains the consent you provide when you submit our matching form, in plain language. It is designed to meet the “one-to-one” consent expectations under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA): you consent to hear from the specific moving companies we match you with, not an open-ended list of buyers.

One-to-one consent

When you submit the form and check the consent box, you are consenting to be contacted by the specific, named, Union-Verified moving companies you are matched with, at most two, each identified to you by name before contact. You are not consenting to be contacted by a network, marketplace, or unnamed pool of third parties.

The exact consent language

The checkbox on our matching form reads:

By checking this box and submitting, I expressly consent to be contacted about my moving request by each specific licensed, Union-Verified moving company I am matched with (up to 2, identified to me by name before contact), by phone call, text message, and email, including via automated technology, at the number and email I provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

What you are agreeing to

• Contact by phone call, text message (SMS), and email, including via automated technology, at the number and email you provide.
• Contact only from the specific movers you are matched with (up to two), each named before they reach you.
• Message and data rates may apply to any texts you receive.

Consent is not required to buy

Your consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can choose a mover, get quotes, and move without providing this consent, it exists solely to let the movers you select contact you about your request.

How to opt out

• Reply STOP to any text message to end texts from that sender immediately.
• Use the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Ask any caller to place you on their do-not-call list.
• Contact us directly through our contact page to withdraw consent.

Records we keep
